This Refund Policy explains when you can cancel a ticket booked through CholoMama, what charges may apply, and how and when refunds are returned. Cancellation and refund rules are set by the individual bus operator, so exact amounts can vary by trip; the applicable terms are always shown before you confirm a booking.

Cancelling a ticket

You can cancel an eligible ticket from the Cancel Ticket page using your ticket number and mobile number, or by contacting our support team. Cancellations must be made before the operator's cut-off time for that trip.

Cancellation charges

A cancellation fee may be deducted from the ticket fare based on how close to departure you cancel and the operator's policy. The refundable amount is shown at the time of cancellation. Convenience and processing fees are generally non-refundable.

When refunds don't apply

  • Cancellations made after the operator's cut-off time.
  • "No-show" tickets where the passenger did not travel and did not cancel in time.
  • Tickets marked non-refundable at the time of booking.

Operator-initiated cancellations

If a trip is cancelled by the operator, you are entitled to a full refund of the fare paid, processed automatically to your original payment method.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the booking (card, bKash, Nagad or other wallet). Refunds typically reach your account within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or wallet provider.
